Set of skills I bring into this venture

I have worked in collaborative environments all my life - especially in the field of sustainability education. I also worked in civil society contexts such as the world social forum movement.

Skills I have learned are about meeting facilitation and scientific writing.

I have a talent in understanding complex systems. I spend a lot of time in nature and also some time by computers. I know the basics of programming.

Open source development has been one of my interests for a long time and I have a good overview of what is happening in the movement at large.

My major is in sociology and social psychology so I can be part of a "human resource department" of the venture. I have always enjoyed hanging out with natural science nerds and geeks of all kind so I will happily contribute to a "hang out space" for us where we can have exciting conversations about the possibilities of disruptive technology that is constructive in building foundations for the new creative and collaborative economy.

My best skill for sensorica is probably that I have a lot of experience in writing grant applications.

My motivation for being part of this venture

I want to be part of a movement of real scientists - because real science is always open source. I think we are creating history right here in finding ways to organise in open collaboration.

For a long time I have found that as a natural scientist I basically know how to solve most environmental problems - in theory. But to actually do it in practice I need to be part of the band wagon of science that is just holding its breath; waiting for the right moment to roll out a nice family of good alternatives to the old paradigm of science and technology that is are threatening the global ecosystems on the planet today.

I want to connect to others who do basic research that can solve problems of sustainability. The smartest thing we can do is to create sensors that can be used first in basic research on electric fields and then later as components in a li-fi service.

Since I have mostly contributed to social movements I have no portfolio on my own. I have written an article about basic philosophy that which is critical to mainstream science of the elitist paradigm. It has some 5000 downloads and is in swedish. http://www.mimersbrunn.se/article?id=8726

I am active on facebook and also in the collaborative technology alliance forum:
