Announcements - Touch-sensitive robots
This project was a natural direction, combining the Mosquito sensor and the XYZ piezo micromanipulators. On the first of June we officially started our project with Philippe Comtois at the Montreal Heart Institute. Part of this project we had to build an XYZ piezo positioner. Jonathan took on the task to design and build one. On Jully first, 2012, Tibi sent the "new product idea" message to SENSORICA asking for input on the idea to use the Mosquito sensor and the XYZ piezo to build a touch sensitive robot for micromanipulations. Daniel was also asked to sketch a a product that would be used in biomedical applications.
