On October 18th, 2014, members of Sensorica advanced two projects at the ecoHACK hackathon, organized at Concordia University in Montréal, Canada.
  • The overall project was to advance the development of "smart" garden prototype to facilitate urban gardening amongst average citizens. We named the project the eCommunity Garden. The Sensorica team focused on advancing two tasks related to the project.
    • The first task began developing software to connect garden sensors (e.g., light monitors) to arduino circuit boards; the second task aimed to assemble and test a prototype Piezo Pump, an energy-efficient water pump for a drip irrigation system.
