Today, the Fondation du maire awarded Tactus Scientific Inc., member of SENSORICA, a $20,000 grant. This is an important vote of confidence from Fondation du maire, which is the largest network and grant provider for startups in the Quebec province of Canada. We were evaluated based on the commercial potential of our optical sensing technology, the Mosquito sensor being at the center of our application. This grant is a well-earned reward for the hard work of all active members who have contributed to the Mosquito project and to the development of our value network. It demonstrates that our value network model works for production of value, which is recognized by classical entities.

On a different front, we were announced today that we were awarded a $23,242 ENGAGE grant for our project involving Philippe Comtois (member of SENSORICA) from Montreal Heart Institute. In short, the aim of this project is to characterize and validate the Mosquito system, and to perform experimental tests at the cardiac cellular and heart tissue level. This grand demonstrates that SENSORICA is a well-functioning value network, an attractor for talents and resources. We collaborate with four research labs already.

So far we have raised over $75,000, see our revenue page
