SENSORICA after one year

This post is still under development...

Over 803 hours of activity have been recorded in our value system.

We are now 20 contributors, including active members, simple members and some sporadic participants.

Our network includes 4 academic research labs (biology, physiology, bioengineering and optics/photonics), and one design and prototyping facility. Members of SENSORICA already have access to research instruments and fabrication tools worth tens of millions of dollars. We are now in the process of writing 3 grant proposals with these research labs, based on projects proposed within SENSORICA, leveraging our growing pool of comments and the potential developed within our value network. We have also developed a connection with Foulab, a Montreal-based fab lab specialized in electronics, 3D printing and CNC.

SENSORICA interfaces with Greener Acres, a value network for local food systems. Through this connection we also have access to Ohio State University, and more precisely to Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) in Wooster.

We have one grant application through Tactus, which will benefit other SENSORICA members, ready to go.

Our Mosquito prototype is being installed at Royal Victoria Hospital / McGill University. We expect some publications out of this collaboration.
